cecoforma (www.cecoforma.com) has over 40 years of rock-solid experience in the field of event organisation and communications. We primarily serve the EU Institutional market, organising close to 300 events and communications campaigns each year. cecoforma is looking for a highly-motivated professional to join cecoforma squad leaders team. The role is an exciting opportunity mixing people management and client management in the execution of events and communications contracts for the European Commission.

Job description :

Squad Leader

• Team facing

• Manage ACMA and PM

• Responsible for workload (employees and freelancers)

• Ensure ACMA and PMs are prepared for their role (onboarding/training/coaching) including performance management

• Responsible to request and lead recruitment process when needed

• Team satisfaction

• Maximise the commercial capacity of each fwc (in cooperation with ACMA) in order to secure the planned EBITDA for the squad

• Manage the allocated budget of the squad

• Ensure client satisfaction across all contracts in squad

• Part of the BU’s “extended management team” = drivers of the BU / perspective beyond the contracts/projects (umbrella view)

Account Manager

• Client facing (establishing good working relationship with clients)

• Maximise the commercial capacity of fwc (in cooperation with PM) in order to secure the planned EBITDA for the fwc

• Upselling and cross-selling services (including adding services to facilitate growth/business development)

• Offers/specific contracts management

• Ensure the good implementation of each specific contract (in terms of execution and profitability)

• Customer satisfaction

• Conduct the yearly self-evaluation with client


Profile requirements:

• Specific/position related skills:

• experience in management of EU projects

• commercial mindset in terms of realising expected profitability of ongoing contracts, and upselling extra services and identifying new opportunities

• Ability to manage a large team

• Ability to manage different partners

• Strong organizational skills

• The ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Liaison and relationship skills

• Solution-oriented approach

• Ambitious, motivated, flexible

 • IT skills: Microsoft package

• Languages: Excellent English (spoken and written) + any other welcome

• Level of experience: +/- 4 years

Required starting time: January 2022
