Artificial intelligence is already reshaping the communications sector - transforming how content is created, researched, and delivered. But what does this mean for professionals working in this sector? In this interactive session, we will explore five methods to analyse the future of work and apply them to communications jobs. Participants will examine how AI impacts the execution of tasks such as text generation, image creation, and research; assess its broader effects on workflows and job roles; and develop strategies to balance AI automation with human expertise. Through hands-on exercises and group discussions, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of where AI fits in your profession and how to prepare your organisation for its evolving role.

Meet the speaker
Laura Nurski is a quantitative social scientist specializing in jobs, organizations, and labor markets of the future. She holds Ph.D. in Economics (Industrial Organization), a Master of Advanced Studies in Economics and a Master of Business Engineering from KU Leuven. As a former data scientist herself, she has researched organization design, job design and Future of Work trends in several research institutes, including universities, think tanks and non-profits.
